Located in Épernay on the prestigious Avenue de Champagne, the Château Comtesse Lafond invites you to a journey where the elegance of the champagnes will rhyme with the majesty of the place.
In the 19th century, Comtesse Lafond developed the reputation of the family’s wines and châteaux. Today, her great-great-grandson, Baron de Ladoucette, pays tribute to her by giving her name to the prestigious vintages of his Champagne Maison and to the Château located at the top of the Avenue de Champagne.
Attached to wines and heritage, Baron de Ladoucette has managed to bring back to life a Château steeped in history and today offers a unique site, which will welcome you for a discovery of its champagnes and wines whose fame is present on the greatest French and international gastronomic tables.

The Comtesse Lafond estate is open every day from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, except Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm .
Tasting at the Comtesse Lafond Showroom
This experience will take place in the Showroom/Boutique Comtesse Lafond accompanied by a sommelier of the House.
You will be able to discover and appreciate the complexity of the terroirs and grape varieties of Champagne, by tasting 3 of our Comtesse Lafond vintages.
This sparkling adventure can end with the discovery of a still wine, the flagship of the Domaines du Baron de Ladoucette.
Visit and tasting in the cellar and in the castle
During this visit of the domain, you will taste 3 of our great Champagne vintages, in different singular places of the Domaine Comtesse Lafond.
The tasting will start in the Comtesse Cellar with the discovery of our Champagne Comtesse Lafond Extra-Brut.
The continuation of this journey will guide you to the Château Comtesse Lafond, where in front of the portrait of the latter, our Champagne Comtesse Lafond Blanc de Blancs will be revealed.
To end this timeless interlude, we will accompany you to the Caveau du Château where you will have the privilege of tasting our latest vintage, Champagne Comtesse Lafond Vintage 2014.
This sparkling adventure will end with the discovery of some still wines from other regions, the jewels of the Domaines du Baron de Ladoucette.
Sabrage and tasting in the cellar and at the château
During this visit/tasting, you will discover 3 of our great Champagne vintages, in different singular places of the Domaine Comtesse Lafond where you will saber your own Champagne vintage.
You will be guided by an ambassador of our House who will accompany you in the unique art of sabrage as in the time of Napoleon.
The tasting will start in the Cave Comtesse with a tasting of our Champagne Comtesse Lafond Extra-Brut.
The next part of this journey will lead you to the Château Comtesse Lafond, where in front of the portrait of the latter, our Champagne Comtesse Lafond Blanc de Blancs will be revealed.
